Abdell B. Bop is one of the most established upright bass players on the European blues scene. Born in Morocco and raised in France, he began his career on electric bass before switching to upright bass, inspired by blues legends such as Willie Dixon, Ransom Knowling and Ernest Big Crawford.
Over more than three decades, Abdell has performed and recorded with leading blues artists from Europe and the US.
With nearly 30 recordings to his name, Abdell B. Bop remains a sought-after musician, bringing deep blues tradition, swing and groove to every stage and recording session.
